Technical Meeting
Come join us in Orlando, FL! Underground Metal Works will be hosting our Section’s Meeting on December 18th at 6:30PM EST.
Join us for our final AWS Section meeting of 2025! This month’s gathering will include the election of new section officers, and we encourage anyone interested in getting involved to volunteer. We are currently seeking candidates for Second Vice Chair, Secretary, and Social Media Chair. If you’d like to take a more active role in supporting the welding community, this is a great opportunity to step into leadership.
In addition to elections, we’ll have raffles, prizes, food, drinks, and plenty of networking with fellow welders, educators, inspectors, and industry professionals. Whether you’re a longtime member or new to the section, this meeting is an excellent chance to connect, share ideas, and help shape our direction for the coming year.
We’re also excited to welcome Steve Snyder as our guest presenter. Steve will be giving an informative talk on international welding codes and standards and what welders need to know when working abroad. His experience offers valuable insight to anyone interested in global welding opportunities or understanding how different codes interact across countries.
We look forward to seeing everyone and closing out 2025 with a strong turnout, great conversation, and an engaged community.
