Dear Section Members,
The annual Massachusetts SkillsUSA welding competition was held Friday May 1, 2026, at Blackstone Valley Regional Technical High School.
Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School student Luis Sousa won the Massachusetts competition and went on to win the gold medal at the national SkillsUSA competition. This is only the second time Massachusetts has received a gold medal in welding!
Congratulations to Luis and all of the rising welding talent in Boston!
