Event Summary: Bring Back the Trades Makes History with First Massachusetts Skills Expo at Gillette Stadium
Rye, N.H. — November 2025 — Bring Back the Trades (BBTT), a nonprofit dedicated to empowering the next generation of skilled tradespeople, hosted its first-ever Massachusetts Skills Expo at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, presented by F.W. Webb Company.
On October 25, 2025, more than 3,000 attendees explored 100 interactive exhibits, turning one of New England’s most iconic venues into a hands-on celebration of opportunity and craftsmanship. From welding simulators and robotics to plumbing demos and aviation displays, students experienced real-world trades and met the professionals who build and power our communities.
The main stage featured Aaron Witt (BuildWitt), Demi Knight Clark (She Built This City), and Leon Garrett (Kenco Plumbing & Drains), with a special appearance by former New England Patriot Rob Ninkovich. BBTT also awarded $25,000 in scholarships to 10 students pursuing careers in plumbing, automotive, aviation, and construction management.

“The trades aren’t a fallback—they’re a foundation,” said Shana Brunye, BBTT COO. “They build communities, careers, and confidence.”

The event’s success was driven by collaboration among local and national partners, including F.W. Webb Company, Casella Waste Systems, Eastern Propane & Oil, Kenco Plumbing & Drains, Lighthouse Credit Union, Noso Labs, and Optiline Enterprises, along with dozens of vocational programs.

“This event proved what’s possible when businesses and educators work together,” said Steve Turner, BBTT Founder and CEO.
“At F.W. Webb, we believe the skilled trades are the backbone of every community,” added Sean Davis, VP of Marketing.

BBTT extends its gratitude to all sponsors, schools, and partners who made this landmark event possible.
