The competition consisted of 3 categories: written test, torch cutting, and welding assembly to print. Several local industry companies donated all the prizes and helped make the event a success. The AWS ATLANTA section supported the event with competition planning assistance, speaking with students\/competitors and provided judges for the competition. Participants were from 3 private schools GA. TRADE, FORTIS TECH., LINCOLN TECH. 4 public schools SOUTHERN CRESENT TECH., NORTH GA. TECH., LANIER TECH (DAWSON CAMPUS) and ALBANY TECH.
