Event Summary: PIKE COUNTY HS AG PROGRAM instructor SHANE MOORE hosted the career day. BUFFORD METAL FABRICATORS AND LINCOLN ELECTRIC REPS showcased what their companies do for the welding industry. Lincoln demonstrated virtual welding simulators and BUFFORD METAL FAB. showed the students some tv running demonstrations of their work and showed the students weld test samples. Jeramy Wright from SOUTHERN CRESENT TECHNICAL COLLEGE brought their mobile welding lab to demonstrate the MILLER augmented arc system. JEREMY and ROBERT talk to the students about the benefits of AWS free memberships, applying for scholarships , AWS sense program and HS dual enrollment program.
