Event Summary: On May 16, the section held a great meet and greet with local section members at SIDNEY LEE WELDING SUPPLY in DUBLIN, GA. Our host Sidney Lee Welding Supply provided lunch for the meeting and several employees to talk with and assist our members and guests. CHARMAIN ROBERT TRUDELLE informed the members of AWS updates, membership details, scholarships, and how they can help and serve their section. Sidney Lee Welding Supply had a Cobot Welding System, a Laser cleaning and Laser welding system set up and TODD BREARLEY of Sidney Lee provided demonstrations in each and interactive discussions for attendees. From local welding students, companies, industry inspectors and instructors, all had a good time in fellowship and getting to learn about the demo systems on hand. Even our past district director HOWARD RECORD visited with us too. Robert Trudelle presented ZANE LEE of Sidney Lee Welding Supply, AWS District Award of Company recognition for support of AWS and the welding industry.
