Event Summary:\u00a0<\/strong>As part of the month-long “Girls Who Weld” summer school program the Acting Alaska Section President was a guest speaker on the topics of welding engineering and the benefits of AWS. This program is open to all Fairbanks high school girls and exposes them to the fundamentals of welding and welding careers. During the program, the girls designed and fabricated Golden Heart bike racks to be donated to the “Golden Heart” City of Fairbanks.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t
