Dear Members, Instructors, Educators, and Students,<\/p>\n

The AWS Alaska Section wants to inform you that the 2020 AWS Scholarships are now open for\napplications. The objective of the scholarship program is to support individuals attending an\naccredited trade school, apprentice, technical college, institute, or university in or outside Alaska\n\twith an emphasis on welding applications or studies.<\/p>\n

To learn more about AWS scholarship information please visit:\nhttps:\/\/www.aws.org\/foundation\/page\/scholarships<\/strong><\/a>\nTo apply for any or all eligible scholarships by filling out one (1) application through the AWS\nonline portal: https:\/\/scholarship.aws.org\/applications\/<\/strong><\/a>\nPlease register on the above AWS portal link and submit your application by the deadline March 1,\n2020<\/strong>. Note that some other scholarship deadlines are May 1, 2020<\/strong> – so submit your applications\nonline as-soon-as-possible.<\/p>\n

Additionally, Welding trade schools and apprentice programs for Welders may also be eligible for\nadditional Welder training-focused scholarships. To apply, and for more information please visit:\nhttps:\/\/www.aws.org\/weldertrainingscholarship<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n
