Safety first! 2. Always wear appropriate safety equipment a. Welding Helmet / Safety Glasses as appropriate b. Steel-toed boots c. Appropriate long-sleeved shirt & pants 3. Never weld alone 4. Only operate equipment you are familiar with or under supervision of qualified personnel 5. Be familiar with location of First Aid kits & fire extinguishers 6. Only people who have signed TAMU-AWS waiver may operate welding equipment

To order publications, assemble list of publications and their product number from the above site. Email the list to Rhenda Mayo (rhenda@aws.org) at the national headquarters and she will fill out the paperwork for the discount and place the order. The Houston AWS chapter will pass on publications as they receive new versions to assist in filling our library.
