• Details: On February 15th, we welcome Paul Shields of The Harris Products Group as our guest speaker. Mr. Shields is a 35 year veteran of the welding & cutting industry and is currently in his 20th year with Harris. He will be giving a very informative and hands-on presentation on safety in oxy-fuel gas welding and cutting. If your job exposes you to oxy-fuel equipment, compressed gases or any gas apparatus, you owe it to yourself to attend this meeting. Dinner will be catered by Remo's Catering.   Mr. Dave McQuaid is a graduate Civil Engineer and Licensed Professional Engineer in multiple states. Dave has been working in the steel welding and construction industry for over 45 years. Dave has worked on twelve (12) orthotropic deck bridge projects. Dave has worked as an American Bridge Engineer for over 31 years. Mr. McQuaid is currently a member of the AWS D1 Main Committee and has been so for over thirty years. Dave is chairman of the AWS D1.5 Bridge Welding Code and has been a member of the Committee for over 20 years and is a Member of the AWS Board of Directors. We look forward to seeing you there.
