I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year on behalf of the Philadelphia AWS board.
just a note on our last meeting for those who couldn't make it Aldo Zambetti, Training Coordinator at Sheet Metal Workers Local #19 was nice enough to allow us to hold our last meeting at their school. I would like to express our thanks for the opportunity to share the demonstration with the adult welding school attendees at local 19. George Benyak from Harris put on a informative and engaging demonstration on brazing different materials with fuel and oxy fuel torches. he also had some booklets from Harris that were in high demand from the attendees. I was particularly impressed with his ability to braze aluminum with flux and al. welding wire. looking forward to seeing you at your future meetings.
See you at a meeting,

THE AWS CERTIFIED WELDING INSPECTOR PAGE
- We Hope that you find this electronic newsletter to be an added benefit to your membership to the American Welding society as well as to provide some tools that you can use on a daily basis.
The American Welding Society (AWS) was founded in 1919 as a multifaceted, nonprofit organization with a goal to advance the science, technology and application of welding and related joining disciplines.
The careers that stem from welding as well as the projected shortages of welders in the near future provide a wonderful forum to give back to an art and trade that we all have benefited from.
