Ron spoke on
welding fumes and resporator systems we need to be using for protection.
 This
is a good meeting attendence was 68. Food Drive is going great and the
Door prize sponsors were Matheson
Tri-Gas FW and Charles Credicott with Tarrent County College.

Above are picutres in May 2006 of the crane system that was destroyed
by winds in Sept. 2006. This was the topic Ed Cox was speaking on. I
wish I had some on those pics.
Our meeting was an AWS and ASM joint
meeting. Dr. Edward Cox was our speaker. He spoke on a multiple crane
failure that happened in Sept. 2006 over the Hoover Dam in Nevada and
Arizona. We had a visit from the AWS East Texas Student Chapter who was
in town touring Trinity Ind.. With all this this going on we had 75
people show up for this meeting. This was the first time we had someone
doing sign language for the hearing impearded.

Our meeting was held at the Martin Brothers Motorcycle Shop Tour in
Duncanville. Our hosts were Jason and Joe Martin who gave us a little
look at the world of custom bike building.
    
     
     
We were taking pictures of members and Joe keep sneaking into the
picture
This bike is going to a comedian on comedy central channel. Look for it
soon there.
 
Robert Klug and Robert Tessier try the fit on a $65K motorcycle.I think
they like
Attendance was 51 people,pizza and drinks were had by all.Thanks again
to Jason and Joe Martin for having us out to see the shop. They did ask
us back
