We did not get any pictures at our
December,2008 Meeting, but the silent
auction did bring in $1080 dollars for our scholarship fund. Thanks to
all our sponsors, volunteers and buyers.
December
11,2007 Meeting was our silent
auction to raise money for scholarships.It was a great success,we
raised over $2300.
To

from all of us thanks
in helping.
  
 
 
Door prizes were donated by AWS North Texas Section. A frozen turkey
and several gift certificates with AWS mugs were had by many.
 
Attendance was 65 people and our food drive did great. Thanks to all
our meeting attendee`s

Our december meeting was our silent auction to raise money for our
scholarship fund.
We sold all the items up for sale. Thanks again to all the sponsors and
people who participated in the auction.We also awarded a $500
scholarship to Dwight Grayson from ATI.Other applicants were given a
helper bag from Miller Electric which will help with their studies.

Our speaker is our good friend James Bauer. An instructor at Mt.
View College. He has worked for Armadillo Aerospace the last few years.
He came out and spoke on their behalf on the weldings processes on the
spacecraft prototypes and working vehicles.We saw some videos of test
flights as well as engine test. We also had some engines to look at
that James had brought with him. He talk about the types of weld for
the purpose of the engine used.
Meeting was held at Spring Creek B-B-Q at Beltline and 183 in
Irving
Attendence was 38 people and our members from Perry
Equip.,(Mineral Wells) ATI Dallas and our ASM members were there.
