John Bruskotter gave a stunning presentation on offshore drilling rigs with an informative description of the BP incident off our gulf shore. The evening also included a tour of the Great Lakes Distillery, dinner and a spirit tasting. This was also a night to honor our past chairs of the Milwaukee section.

The Great Lakes Distillery is a craft distillery that produces award-winning spirits including gin and vodka. They also produce a rum called Roaring Dan Rum which was named after Dan Seavey, a local pirate with a colorful and sorted past. A craft distillery is similar to a microbrewery, but it produces high-quality spirits.
